Healey Ford Lincoln is looking for an experienced and energetic candidate who will join our service team. This employee's main role will consist of Service Advising. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years prior automotive/service advisor experience.

 Details About This Position:

This position is a Full-Time position. It sits on site at our Healey Ford Lincoln location in Goshen, NY. The schedule for this position is generally a daytime 8-hour shift 5-6 days a week. Compensation will reflect the ideal candidate's experience.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • 2 years documented experience in a dealership atmosphere or in a Service Advisor position
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
  • Professional certification from the Nation Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • 2 years plus documented customer service skills in a customer facing environment

What You Will Do:

  • Provide a high-level customer experience to all our customers and guests
  • Greet customers, schedule service appointments, and receive vehicle information
  • Listen to the customer regarding the service desired and clearly explain information the repair order
  • Refer the technician to the customer and/or test drive the vehicle to confirm the source of the repairs
  • Estimate the cost and time needed to do the repair, considering the customer’s schedule
  • Handle customer concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfactions
  • Periodically check on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contact the customer when technicians discover any additional issues
  • Receive customer approval to do any additional work and explain to the customer the work being performed and the cost associated with the work
