Service Warranty Administrator 

The Service Warranty Administrator is responsible for reviewing and finalizing warranty claims. This entails preparing, recording, reconciling, and subsequently submitting warranty claims to the relevant party.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all warranty paperwork is processed accurately for proper documentation and criteria verification.
  • Book warranty repair orders and close Ro's efficiently.
  • Submit claims for manufacturer's warranty in a timely manner.
  • Maintain receivables schedules and diligently follow up on them.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of technicians, service writers, and supervisors.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure swift receipt and shipment of replacement parts.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to clearly define the scope of a warranty claim.
  • Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor when required.
  • Review every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all submitted claims, including those returned/rejected and paid, along with their current statuses.
  • Process all warranty body shop claims efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Seeking an individual with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required
  • Knowledge of automotive or equipment warranties is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are a must
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • General understanding of automotive parts and vehicle mechanics is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service expertise are required
