Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Experienced Quick Lane Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various automotive maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards. As part of our team, you will work in a state-of-the-art facility with modern equipment and a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle maintenance systems, including, but not limited to, flushes, oil changes, and tire rotations.
- Perform thorough checks of customer’s cars, including checking the battery, lights, and tires; refer all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
- Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment and perform all lubrication services.
- Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or the Production Foreman and proceed to the service lift.
- Lubricate the entire car while looking for other items that may need repair.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, particularly the lifts.
- Use appropriate amounts of materials and supplies.
- Ensure customers’ cars are kept clean and only driven for business purposes.
- Keep the shop area neat, clean, and organized; ensure all dealership-owned tools are accounted for.
- Stay current on the latest diagnostic methods and service techniques across various brands; stay informed on the latest bulletins, service manuals, and other service publications.
- Participate in service training activities and attend factory-sponsored training classes.
- Regularly communicate with the Service Advisor/Dispatcher to confirm repair order and diagnostic information.
- Achieve high customer service standards by meeting "above district" customer service information (CSI) scores.
- Follow established safety protocols and report any equipment issues; immediately report safety incidents.
- Stay informed about and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know regulations.
- Safeguard dealership assets and customer data.
- Complete required training through the company training portal.
- Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
- Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive Group brand.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair work as specified on work orders, adhering to dealership and/or Mopar standards.
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and more.
- Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving automotive technology and techniques by participating in formal training sessions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service work.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Dealership experience preferred but not required.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Proficient in using shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, and air conditioning systems.
