Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island.

-Position: Lead Night Porter - Custodian

-Location: Kakaako (Honolulu, HI 96813)

-Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM (17.5 hours weekly)

-Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50

Key responsibilities and requirements include:

-Communicate efficiently with the HBM supervisor and property manager.

-Possess the ability to utilize a smartphone for communication and report generation

-Lead a team of four in cleaning designated areas of the building.

-Clean and maintain the location space, which involves restocking supplies, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas.

-Ensure that doors are secured properly.

-Oversee that the property is cleaned according to assigned tasks.

-Monitor and maintain a fast and efficient workflow.

-Clean restrooms, tenant spaces, elevators, and stairwells.

-Remove trash and replace liners, disposing of waste in designated areas.

-Ensure that employee time cards are reviewed and submitted to payroll promptly.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

-Candidates should be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting a minimum of 30 lbs. and more.

-Perform other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.

-Must pass HBM prescreen check.

-High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

-Previous supervisory experience or related experience required.

-Valid Hawaii driver's license preferred.
