We are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager. Ideal candidates will have a dynamic personality interested in learning our company and generating new business, excellent customer service skills and communication, initiative, and ability to multitask. Must have a valid driver's license, able to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a business development strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Arrange business development meetings with prospective and current clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Strong understanding of company services, as well as, business position and competition to keep business competitive
- Review scope of work for current contracts to identify sales opportunities
- Attend bid walk through, obtain pricing, prepare cost sheets, take the lead on RFP and proposal process
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must pass background check
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (sales, marketing or business administration)
- Previous work experience as a business development manager, sales executive or relevant role
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driver abstract
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
- Must have excellent organizational ability and financial aptitude.
- Must have good public relations skills and good oral and written communication ability
- Good knowledge of spreadsheet, database, word processing programs
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Schedule: Monday - Friday: variable (primarily in the main office or out in the field, as necessary)
Compensation: $70k - $75k + commission
