Responsibilities

  • Provide prospective clients with live seminar on information about Estate Planning.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of one-on-one consultations with 20 – 30 new clients per month.
  • Handle matters from inception to conclusion, including meeting with clients, developing a strategy for an estate plan, and overseeing the preparation of the appropriate estate planning documents to meet the client’s objectives.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information.
  • Reports on caseload at a weekly case review meeting with the Regional Managing Attorney
  • Communicates with clients in person and via mail, email and telephone to commence an engagement, to keep the matter moving forward on a timely basis, and to make certain that the efforts of the firm’s support staff are in tune with the client’s needs.
  • Provide guidance to staff members when necessary.
  • Participate in the Performance Evaluation process for the direct reports as well as provide feedback on indirect reports that may have been assigned to them during the year.

Skills

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Estate Planning, Elder Law or Probate Law.
  • Must be able to speak English fluently.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar and be in Good Standing.
  • Effective, clear, concise, and accurate communication, both oral and written, at an appropriate level to the situation and the client.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated client relationship skills, including the ability to lead in-person client meetings.
