Position Details

Department: Harr Toyota – Business Development Center (BDC)

Reports To: BDC Manager

Schedule: Full-time | Rotating schedule including some weekends

Compensation: Hourly base + performance-based incentives

Location: Worcester, MA

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, texts, and emails for new and pre-owned Toyota sales leads promptly and professionally
  • Convert leads into quality showroom appointments using proven BDC communication techniques
  • Follow up with unsold, uncontacted, and unsatisfied leads according to BDC cadences
  • Confirm appointments and conduct courtesy reminder calls to increase show rates
  • Log all customer interactions and appointment outcomes accurately in the CRM (DriveCentric)
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs including contact rate, appointment rate, and show rate
  • Collaborate with Toyota sales consultants to ensure seamless lead handoffs and a smooth customer experience
  • Stay informed on current Toyota models, incentives, and promotions to speak confidently with customers
  • Participate in team meetings, BDC trainings, and ongoing performance coaching

 

What We're Looking For

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — confident and engaging on the phone
  • Positive, competitive mindset with a drive to hit and exceed targets
  • Ability to handle a high volume of leads in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prior BDC, call center, sales, or customer service experience preferred
  • Automotive industry experience a plus but not required — we will train the right candidate
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus (DriveCentric experience a bonus)
  • Professional, reliable, and a strong team player
