Quick Lube Technician / Tire Installer (Automotive) - Harbor Chevrolet & Hyundai

Harbor Chevrolet has been Loving Long Beach Since 1923.  We are right around the corner from our 100th Anniversary and we are looking for the right people to join our team. 

Harbor Chevrolet has one of the largest Service and Parts operations in Southern California and we are growing at a rapid pace.  We also have a giant wholesale parts operation that services dealers, body shops and customers all over SoCal.  We need qualified candidates fast to help us manage this growth.  We are breaking records and having a lot of fun at the same time.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

We do have some items we are looking for:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Positive Attitude
• Strong Work Ethic
• Show up on time and ready to work
• Strong understanding of the service drive
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Perform quick services (oil, tires, brakes, wipers, battery, PDI, etc) on vehicles with speed, accuracy and purpose.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
