Security Guard

We're hiring a Security Guard to monitor and patrol our community, providing a safe environment for residents and associates. This role reports to the Director of Engineering and does not supervise other associates.

What You'll Do

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards; work twelve-hour shifts when needed
• Maintain correct use and maintenance of equipment
• Anticipate resident, guest, and staff needs and respond promptly
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
• Participate in staff activities that build teamwork and morale

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security experience required
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of security/safety practices pertaining to long-term healthcare

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing, including color recognition

Working Environment

• Work is performed in a well-lit, well-ventilated community setting, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, water, and noise
• Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, on weekends, or in other roles as needed
