Automotive parts counter person

Haddad Subaru of St. Albans is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories, providing excellent service and expert advice to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient parts management.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts and accessories.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, both in-person and over the phone.
• Maintain inventory levels by updating stock records and placing orders with suppliers as needed.
• Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to meet parts requirements.
• Provide product knowledge and guidance on usage and availability.
• Ensure the parts counter and surrounding area are organized and clean.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive parts or retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
