Summary: Maintain and prepare 10–15 guest rooms each day with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to the highest housekeeping standards. Room attendants play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests by providing friendly, professional service, maintaining a positive image of the property, and responding to guest requests and concerns with honesty, respect, and a helpful attitude. 

Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, hourly position offering an attractive compensation package that includes a percentage of service charges, as well as medical, dental, and vision benefits and exclusive resort discounts.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Make beds and change out linens/towels
• Vacuum carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies
• Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Sweep and mop floors
• Dust, polish furniture and equipment
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies and bathroom items
• Clean kitchen areas and dishes
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
• Respond promptly to requests by guests and other department managers
• Observe precautions to protect guests and hotel property
• Report all theft, damage and found property to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty
• Assist in cleaning public areas when needed
• Maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping closets and carts
• Manage time to complete all assigned tasks by the end of the shift
• Work as a team to ensure everything gets done daily
• Organization and thoroughness
• Preparing rooms in minimal length of time while respecting guest privacy
• Check and flip or report mattress rotation needs
• To follow all specified procedures as specified in the HDS Employee Handbook
