Job Summary:
The Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator at Hacienda Del Sol Resort in Tucson, Arizona will be a full-time individual contributor role with a focus on providing HR and payroll services to the resort. You will work with employees to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits, and will be responsible for new hire onboarding, employee data management, and application of all HR related policies.
Compensation & Benefits:
This hourly position will pay $23.00 per hour. The position offers additional benefits such as PTO, healthcare, and 401k.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll accurately and timely – including the input, review, and submission of payroll information.
• Ensure employees are aware of and understand the policies and procedures set forth by Hacienda Del Sol, including but not limited to onboarding, payroll, benefits, and vacation.
• Utilize payroll and human resource software to ensure the on-boarding of new employees is compliant with company and governmental standards and regulations.
• Enter employee data into HRIS/Payroll database.
• Maintain employee and payroll records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and update employee benefit accounts.
• Assist in the coordination of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
• Stay informed of and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employee benefits and payroll processes.
• Assist in the administration of employee recognition and incentive programs.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay and benefits.
• Recruitment and on-boarding.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in payroll/HR in a hotel/hospitality setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of payroll and employment laws.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS or Payroll software, preferably ADP.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Ability to keep confidential information secure and private.
• Proven ability to be detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Previous recruiting experience preferred.
