Job Summary:
The Gigi’s Restaurant Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the resort’s food and beverage service, including restaurants, bars, and assisting with additional dining outlets. The role ensures that guests receive exceptional service, maintains the quality of the dining experience, and supports the Director of Food & Beverage in driving revenue and meeting financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring consistent service standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist the General Manager in the development and implementation of service policies, procedures and expectations.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff, providing feedback and support to maintain a high level of team performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular inspections, and ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all food and beverage areas.
  • Oversee scheduling and labor management to optimize staff efficiency while controlling costs.
  • Support menu development and promotions in collaboration with the culinary team.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in financial performance analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking sales and expenses.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of food and beverage management experience, preferably in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style.
  • Knowledge of food and service trends.
  • Strong beverage background  with bar management experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around dining areas for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items up to 20-30 pounds, such as supplies or equipment.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting to manage service setups and inventory.
  • Manual dexterity to handle dining equipment, service tools, and menu items.
  • Good vision to oversee service areas and read menus; good hearing to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively to convey information to guests, team members, and other departments.
