The HR Coordinator is key to ensuring we are compliant with applicable employment policies and maintaining the administrative flow in the office. From submitting federal HR reports,running payroll, onboarding employees, placing job ads, conducting virtual interviews, conducting orientations and fielding phone calls, the HR Coordinator's scope of responsibility is varied, fast paced, and rewarding. A mix of customer service, sales, recruiting, and human resources are all part of this exciting role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Track recurring administrative and training requirements.
  • Manage weekly payroll processing, manage benefits, and employee retention. 
  • Work with the Texas Workforce Commission in addressing unemployment claims.
  • Manage and participate in the recruiting and onboarding procedures.
  • Manage data in HR information platforms.
  • Maintain files in accordance with Federal and State regulations and standards.
  • Track recurring administrative and training requirements.
  • Supervise HR staff.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills/Qualities:

  • High level of computer literacy and able to quickly learn new software platforms.
  • Outgoing, articulate, with strong verbal and written skills and pleasant phone manner.
  • Able to speak to small groups.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented; good documentation skills.
  • User level knowledge of computer basics, MS office and virtual meeting software.
  • Associates degree and experience in related field a plus.

Starting salary range from $17-20/hour, depending on experience.
