Job Description

Griswold Home Care for Laguna Hills is hiring compassionate and experienced Caregivers to join our growing team. We provide non-medical in-home care services that help seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently with dignity and respect.

Pay Range:

$19.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on:

• Verifiable home care experience

• Relevant care giving skills and education

• Length of employment in previous home care roles

Language Differential Available For Speakers Of:

• Mandarin

• Farsi

• Hindi

• Spanish

• Russian

Schedule:

• Full-time & Part-time (Please keep in mind that Hours are based on clients needs, and we can not guarantee hours) 

• Flexible hours (4,8,12) Must be flexible for 4 hour shifts as well. 

• Day and evening shifts available

• Weekdays and weekends based on client needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• HCA ID # and eligibility letter through the CA Department of Social Services (or application in progress)

• Current TB test within the last year

• Minimum 1 year of care giving experience in a home care setting
  (Candidates with 6+ months of verifiable experience may be considered)

• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or chronic conditions preferred

• Valid driver's license and car insurance

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must pass a background check (Live Scan)

• 4 professional and 2 personal references required

Preferred (Not Required):

• BLS and First Aid Certification

• CPR Certification

• Copies of HCA ID, TB Screening, First Aid/CPR, and car insurance/registration
