Service Manager

Griffith Ford San Marcos is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team in San Marcos, TX. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality. You will work closely with technicians, advisors, and customers to manage schedules, resolve issues, and drive service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the service department staff, including technicians and service advisors.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and professional service.
• Monitor workflow and ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate service records and oversee billing and invoicing processes.
• Train and develop service staff to enhance skills and team performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall dealership operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a service management role, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of automotive service procedures and industry standards is preferred.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems is a plus.
