Automotive Sales Manager

Job Summary:
Granite Automotive is looking for an experienced, highly organized, and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to oversee the sales operations of our Rapid City, South Dakota location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading the sales team, using customer service strategies and promotional techniques, and working closely with other personnel, such as finance and healthcare employees, to promote sales and maximize revenues for Granite Automotive.

Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes a program for hiring, training, and ongoing coaching of sales staff
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers and various departments within Granite Automotive
• Ensures customers receive excellent customer service and proper sales technique
• Manages customer financing inquiries
• Provides product knowledge and sales information
• Analyzes teams' progress and performance
• Develops plans to increase sales and customer base
• Reports sales goals, objectives, strategies, campaigns, and results
• Manages day to day operations including customer inquiries, scheduling, inventory management, and problem resolution

Requirements:
• Five (5) or more years of experience in auto sales/management in a dealership setting
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal automotive retail regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret data
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
