What You'll Do

Provides welcoming, efficient, and patient-focused administrative support at Grand River Health Clinics. Ensures patients are prepared for their visits, financial and insurance requirements are managed, and clinical staff have the support needed for smooth care coordination.

  • Welcome patients and update demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify insurance, resolve registration issues, and address patient questions.
  • Collaborate with staff and financial counselors on patient billing and insurance education.
  • Support clinical staff with documentation, scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison with hospitals, physicians, and vendors.
  • Collect payments, scan documents, and notify staff of patient arrivals.
  • Maintain a friendly, patient-focused environment and represent Grand River Health positively.

 

Who We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Working experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting preferred
