What You'll Do
As a Lab Tech, you’ll perform routine laboratory testing that supports accurate diagnosis and patient care. You’ll work with a variety of specimens, equipment, and testing methods while following established procedures and quality standards.
- Perform waived and moderate-complexity laboratory testing, including blood counts, urinalysis, and other routine diagnostic tests.
- Prepare, process, and examine patient specimens using microscopes, laboratory equipment, and precision instruments.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
- Accurately document and report test results while following quality control and standardized laboratory procedures.
- Complete related clerical and administrative tasks and support other laboratory needs as assigned.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Lab Tech with a strong foundation in laboratory medicine, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a patient-focused environment.
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, bachelor’s degree in medical technology, or equivalent education required.
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required, with 0–3 years of professional experience preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required within three months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment with GRHD.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing across microbiology, hematology, chemistry, blood bank, urinalysis, serology, and immunology.
- Skilled in venipuncture, arterial blood collection, specimen collection, and the safe use of laboratory equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships with patients and team members.

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
