What You’ll Do

  •  Clean, test, adjust, assemble and sterilize reusable medical supplies, instruments and equipment.
  • Stores and distributes patient care medical instruments and equipment to hospital units, stocks medical supply storage areas.
  • Performs, analyzes and documents sterilizer functions, tests vacuums, chemical and biological indicators, evaluates and inspects equipment, answers telephones, handles face to face interactions with patients and hospital personnel.
  • Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Six months’ experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card within three months of hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
  • Graduate of certified Central Service Technician program or previous experience as Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
  • Familiarity with hospital supplies, equipment, instruments preferred.\

Our total rewards package includes

 

  • Pay Range: $XXX/hour (based on experience)
  • Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends
  • PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
