What You’ll Do

Grand River Hospital District is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Conference Attendant to support the daily operations of our Facilities Department. This role plays an essential part in ensuring meetings, events, and patient spaces are welcoming, organized, and professionally main ·  Complete timely and accurate set-up of banquet and conference events.

• Arrange tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, and audio-visual equipment
• Ensure events are prepared and ready on schedule
• Prepare floral arrangements for patients and special events
• Maintain plants and floral displays throughout the facility
• Attend event planning and department meetings as assigned
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a clean, organized, and safe manner
• Cross-train within other Facilities disciplines as needed
• Operate a company vehicle when required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred. 
• Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record preferred. If driving is required for the position a valid driver’s license and clean DMV record is required.

What We Offer

Our total rewards package includes

• Pay Range: $17.50-$24.00 (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: $2-$4/hour for nights and weekends
• PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
