Nurse Practitioner Opportunity at North Ave Immediate Care

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering high-quality medical services.

Duties

• Provide high-quality urgent care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Offer patient education on wellness, preventive care, and chronic condition management.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, managing patient care effectively.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, pap smears, etc.
• Administer medications and injections while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans.
• Conduct physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe medications
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in an Urgent Care and Family Medicine setting. Preferred qualifications include experience in the following areas:

• Experience in an Urgent Care and Family Medicine setting.
• Family medicine specialties.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and emergency medicine protocols.
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-first mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
