Body Shop Manager

Glenn Buege Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and experienced Body Shop Manager to lead our body repair operations in Eaton Rapids, MI. In this role, you will oversee the daily functions of the body shop, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficient workflow, and exceptional customer service. You will work closely with technicians,  and front office staff to maintain smooth operations and uphold the company’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all body shop activities, including repairs, estimations, and quality control.
• Coordinate work schedules and assign tasks to technicians and repair staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and industry regulations.
• Maintain inventory and order necessary parts and supplies.
• Resolve customer concerns and provide updates regarding repair status.
• Collaborate with insurance companies and vendors as needed.
• Monitor shop performance, productivity, and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Manager or similar supervisory role in an automotive body repair environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of body repair processes, estimating software, and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
