Job Description
Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is looking for a motivated individual for our Service Administrative Team. The ideal candidate for the position must have a positive attitude, work well with others, and have great customer service skills.
The Service Cashier position is full time; (40 hours) per week. The work schedule is a rotating 4 - 10-hour days schedule per week. The hours are 7 am – 6 pm with an hour for lunch. This position will require working some Saturdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
- Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
- Answer and transfer phone calls and schedule appointments accurately
- Answer customer emails, text messages, and chats promptly
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
- Ensure every repair order is signed by the customer at time of payment
- Balance daily deposit for cash, checks and credit card payments at end of shift
- Work with department managers to keep up to date new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price
- Refer customers who have additional questions to the service advisor or other appropriate individual
- Give cash refunds accurately to customers for approved returned merchandise
- Electronic scanning of files daily
- Perform receptionist duties as requested
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
- Close repair orders and make sure we have received payment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Basic skills with computer and other office machines (copier, credit card machine, telephone, calculator)
- Ability to work well with customers and present a friendly, helpful attitude at all times.
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, and have a valid driver license once a conditional offer of employment is issued
