Parts Counter Specialist

Want to join a commercial truck dealership in Bakersfield?  Gibbs Truck Centers is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Specialist to build relationships with local business and sell parts.

Responsibilities

• Assists everyone (retail and shop) in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source
• Assists outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Ensures that all sales & invoices are signed and correctly closed out by the customer.
• Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice & receipt.
• Solicits assigned accounts by phone.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other tasks, but not limited to just these job responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Sales driven
• Good computer and systems knowledge
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Automotive Knowledge
