Experienced Automotive Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing automotive service and repairs, ensuring an exceptional service experience by effectively communicating with both customers and technicians. Your expertise will help guide customers through the service process, from initial consultation to final vehicle delivery, while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, assessing their service needs.
• Provide accurate estimates for services and repairs using OEM guidelines.
• Schedule vehicle service appointments and manage workflow in the service department.
• Communicate effectively with technicians and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair status.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-service concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used.
• Promote and upsell additional services that meet customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with automotive service software and scheduling systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive certifications a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
