Georgia Families in Transition, LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist to join our growing team. This is a remote contract position offering $200 per hour, with a 15-hour weekly commitment plus two Saturdays per month.

Position Overview:
As a Psychiatrist, you will provide diagnostic assessments, medication management, and therapeutic support to a diverse mental health population. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality telehealth services to individuals and families in need. This position specifically involves providing psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.

Schedule Requirements:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (5 hours per day)
• Two Saturdays per month: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• Active Georgia Medical License (Required)
• Credentialed to work with Medicaid (Required)
• Willing to obtain credentialing for private insurance panels (Required)
• DEA certification (Required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABMS certification preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric initial evaluations, crisis assessments, and ongoing medication management
• Provide patient education on mental health diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
• Complete timely and accurate documentation (same-day documentation required)
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications according to best practice standards
• Participate in peer reviews, staff meetings, and required training's
• Collaborate with internal teams and respond promptly to patient and pharmacy inquiries

Compensation & Benefits:

• $200 per hour
• 15 guaranteed hours per week plus two Saturdays per month
