We have an immediate opening for a Director of Marketing to join our team and develop from the ground up, a world-class marketing program.
Reporting directly to the founder and CEO, you will play an instrumental role in scaling the shaping the future of the organization. You will work every day with both company leadership and other members of the QualSights demand team to define our target market, build a compelling brand, and execute cross-functional marketing campaigns.
Balance and mental dexterity are key in this role. You must be able to pivot on any given day from a strategic thinker to an active doer. From a creative brainstormer to an analytical measurer of results. We’re an entrepreneurial firm and looking for entrepreneurial thinkers and doers who can devise creative solutions quickly to pressing challenges and see them through to completion.
Consistency in approach and execution is key, but no two days in this role will be alike. You will be responsible for:
Defining our marketing processes, establishing KPIs and metrics, developing and presenting new marketing programs, and executing those programs in the market
Building a marketing team help scale your thinking and vision
Working with leadership to spot and capitalize on emerging market trends by developing new capabilities
Working closely with the entire demand generation team to generate new leads, qualify and nurture those leads and ultimately to drive pipeline and close new business
Clearly measuring and articulating what’s working and what’s not, proactively adjusting the strategy and execution as you learn
Creating and owning a marketing budget
Identifying, bringing on, and managing vendors, contractors, agencies, and other support as needed to execute campaigns
Displaying strong project management skills from the creation of initial plans to the hitting of key deadlines
We’re looking for a strong marketer who has experience in B2B marketing with the ability to help scale our firm. Key qualities for this role include:
Brand Development: Experience developing brand differentiation, value propositions, visual identities, and more
Storytelling: Strong ability to convey an idea in a compelling storytelling approach
MarTech Management: Able to identify, build and manage a cutting edge MarTech stack including web analytics (Google Analytics), CRM (Outreach, Salesforce, etc.), and marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Hubspot, etc.)
Persona and ICP (Ideal Client Profile) Development: Well versed in customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
Strategic Marketing: Ability to create marketing programs to deliver against business objectives
Multi-disciplinary Program Execution: Ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary campaigns and programs
Compelling Communicator: Able to convey ideas both in written and verbal format
Strong Project Manager: Able to hit deadlines and deliver against your KPIs
Firm Understanding of Digital Marketing: You should have a good working knowledge of SEO, SEA, digital content development, and more
5+ years experience in B2B, SaaS, high-tech products/services preferred; Experience working with sales and business development teams a plus. Bachelor’s degree in business, communication or a related field.

Preferably this position will be located in Chicago, but open to remote for the right candidate.
