Unique opportunity for a dynamic team leader to help drive the Pre-owned Department at Garber Chevrolet Highland! Our ideal candidate will have prior automotive management experience and possess the ability to manage a large used vehicle inventory and a sales staff of 25.

Must be proficient in all aspects of used vehicle sales, reconditioning, and vehicle acquisition. VAuto experience is required. This position requires a strong work ethic and someone willing to make the sacrifices needed to grow our store to be the #1 volume leader in the area!
Used Vehicle Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Work directly with Sales team to develop enriching relationships that improve customer satisfaction and fuel the sales process
- Provide training and support to sales staff and assist in closing deals
- Facilitate regular sales training for continue team growth
- Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales targeted performance
- Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and standard methodology processes
- Drive business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations
- Lead the negotiation process ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
- Inventory control and wholesaling
- Partner with General Manager plan and run vehicle inventory
- Assist in running controllable expense elements for the New and Used Vehicle Departments
- Analyze business metrics to resolve shortfalls and implement action plans to elevate performance
Used Vehicle Sales Manager Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years managing a large volume used vehicle sales operation. Verifiable references and sales results required
- Ability to develop and lead a team
- Shown success and strong track record in auto retail sales
- Confirmed leadership ability to teach and train others
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in automotive digital retailing and related software/programs including Vauto
- Passionate about training sales team members and operating within a reciprocal environment
- Enthusiastic personality with high-energy attitude
- Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and improve profitability
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Experience and desire to work with technology
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
