What You’ll Do

As a Traveling Applications Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between technology and customer success. From on-site demonstrations to technical consultations, you’ll help prospects envision how our solutions fit into their operations. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to conduct on-site technical demonstrations of our automation solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical support to prospective customers, including feasibility studies and application analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and propose customized automation solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Travel extensively across North America to assist in sales meetings, trade shows, and customer consultations.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to engineering and product teams, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that highlight the features, benefits, and ROI of our CNC automation solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in a technical role, ideally with experience in CNC machining or automation systems.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of robotics, CNC machines, and automation processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively across North America (up to 60% of the time).
• Problem-Solving: A proactive and resourceful approach to overcoming technical and logistical challenges.
