Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues using factory tools and diagnostic equipment

  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards

  • Test-drive vehicles and verify all concerns are resolved before delivery

  • Provide clear, detailed documentation of work performed on repair orders

  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding needed repairs or recommendations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Stay current on Ford training, certifications, and technical updates


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ford Certification required; Senior Master Technician certification preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician (Ford or Lincoln dealership experience strongly preferred)

  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques

  • Proficiency with Ford diagnostic tools and service software

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
