We are seeking a high-energy, compassionate Activities Assistant to help enhance quality of life for residents through meaningful engagement and specialized programming.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about senior care, memory care, and therapeutic recreation in a skilled nursing and subacute environment.

This role focuses heavily on person-centered programming, one-on-one engagement, and therapeutic activities designed to preserve dignity, nurture the spirit, and enable freedom of choice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading group and individualized activities
• Provide one-on-one engagement for residents with complex medical and cognitive needs
• Support person-centered care and therapeutic recreation programs
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clinical staff, and families
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean activity environment
• Follow all federal, state, and facility regulations

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion for serving seniors and medically complex residents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing, subacute, memory care, or senior living
• Experience working with dementia or ventilator-dependent residents
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
