This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing daily operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations:
- Drive profitability by ensuring acceptable levels of gross and net profit from the sales department.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets.
- Set realistic and strategic sales quotas based on staff skill levels.
- Oversee sales, trade-ins, and delivery of all new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Maintain accurate sales and vehicle history records.
- Utilize the dealership's computer system efficiently for all sales management functions.
- Ensure proper and timely completion of all related sales paperwork.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and professional sales environment.
Customer Experience:
- Deliver high-quality customer service through proactive sales techniques.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously, in person and over the phone.
- Promote and facilitate cross-sales of accessories, warranties, insurance, financing, and services.
- Ensure compliance with test drive, inspection, and delivery procedures.
- Address and resolve customer concerns with a positive and solutions-oriented attitude.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Sales Management experience in the automotive or motorcycle industry (Harley-Davidson experience is a strong plus).
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Motivated, team-focused, and results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
