Experienced Automotive Detailer

Ford Square of Mt Vernon in Mt Vernon, IL is looking for Experienced Automotive Detailers to join our service team. Detailers set the first impression for every new and pre-owned vehicle that leaves the lot, so this role calls for someone who notices the small things and finishes the job right. The right candidate has prior detailing experience, works well without close supervision, and takes pride in the final result.

What You'll Do

• Detail the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles from top to bottom

• Wash, wax, polish, and vacuum vehicles, and finish with window cleaning and tire dressing

• Check each completed vehicle against quality and cleanliness standards before it moves on

• Flag cosmetic damage or defects to the service or reconditioning team as you find them

• Keep the detail bay and equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next vehicle

• Handle all chemicals and supplies according to safety and handling procedures

• Prepare vehicles for showroom placement, customer delivery, or lot display

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive detailing experience required

• Dependable and punctual with high standards for work quality

• Strong attention to detail and consistent results from vehicle to vehicle

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
