Job Description

The BDC Representative plays a key role in generating business by responding to inbound leads, making outbound calls, and scheduling appointments for both the sales and service departments. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a friendly, professional tone across all customer interactions. Job Type & Schedule

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: Competitive, based on experience and performance

Work Requirements:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed

  • Ability to Commute: Helena, MT (Required)

  • Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls, internet leads, and chat inquiries promptly and professionally

  • Make outbound calls to follow up with prospects and service customers

  • Schedule appointments for the sales and service teams

  • Maintain CRM accuracy and input all customer communication and lead activity

  • Provide timely responses to all customer inquiries and follow established contact scripts

  • Work closely with sales and service staff to coordinate customer visits and ensure a smooth handoff

  • Assist with marketing campaigns, email outreach, and special promotions as needed

  • Deliver a high level of customer service and represent the Ford of Helena brand with professionalism

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, or BDC role preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong computer and typing proficiency; CRM experience is a plus

  • Ability to stay organized and meet performance metrics

  • Friendly, upbeat, and professional demeanor

  • Must be comfortable on the phone and confident with scripted messaging

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
