Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Automotive Service Technician to join our expert service team at Flood Ford of Narragansett. As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Job Type & Schedule:

• Job Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, with rotating Saturdays (as needed)
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and efficient repair and maintenance work in line with dealership and manufacturer standards

• Diagnose issues using the latest automotive technology and tools

• Document findings, recommendations, and repairs in a clear and professional manner

• Road test vehicles to verify repairs

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Stay current with Ford training programs and certifications (e.g., Ford STARS)

• Provide top-quality customer service with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or independent shop

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Must own a personal set of automotive tools

• Ford STARS training or ASE certifications are preferred

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
