Job Description
We are looking for an Automotive Lube Technician to handle core maintenance services and support the service team with dependable, high quality work. This role is ideal for a tech who knows the fundamentals, works clean, and wants a stable shop with room to grow into a Maintenance Tech or B level role over time.

Job Type and Schedule
Full time

Work Requirements
• Work Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, Saturdays as needed
• Ability to Commute: East Greenwich, RI required
• Work Location: In person

Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, filters, and batteries
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical issues
• Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors and customers when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Test systems and components to ensure proper functionality and safety
• Isolate potential causes of mechanical problems
• Drive vehicles for testing and verification when required
• Maintain accuracy in diagnosing and performing maintenance services
• Repair or replace worn parts before major failure or damage occurs
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications
• 6 plus months of basic automotive maintenance experience preferred
• Solid understanding of routine service procedures
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and handle physical aspects of the job
• Strong communication skills and reliable work habits
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to learn and grow within the Flood Automotive Group
• Ford experience is a plus, not required
