Findlay Volvo is seeking a proven leader who knows how to develop and build a profitable pre-owned business.

We're seeking an experienced results driven Used Car Manager to lead and grow our pre-owned operation at our luxury dealership.  Must be a hands-on leader who understands how to acquire the right inventory, manage turn and gross profit.  All delivering an exceptional customer experience.  

This is an opportunity for an accomplished automotive professional to make a significant impact on dealership performance while working in a professional, customer-based environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory Acquisition: Develop and execute a disciplined purchase strategy through trade-ins, Volvo 360 off lease program, online auctions and through our Service to Sales service drive trade-up program.  

Online Pricing Strategy: Follow a strategy that utilizes market data using v-Auto and industry tools to make sound pricing decisions to maximize sales velocity.  

Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, monitor aging and maximizing turn rate.

Profitability and Performance: Drive used vehicle sales, front-end gross, total departmental profitability and overall inventory return on investment.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Proven success as a Used Car Manager in a volume franchised dealership.

• Strong track record of profitable used vehicle operations
• Exceptional appraisal, acquisition, pricing and inventory management skills.
• Ability to develop people and build an accountable, performance driven culture.
• Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of departmental goals and KPI's.
• High energy, integrity, professionalism and a competitive drive.
