Position Overview:  

Findlay Lincoln is looking for a driven and customer-focused BDC Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and nurturing customer relationships through effective communication, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills, a strong understanding of the automotive industry, a professional attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through phone, email, and other communication channels. 

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing accurate information on vehicle inventory, pricing, promotions, and dealership services. 

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets by utilizing effective sales strategies and following up on lead 

  • Schedule and confirm customer appointments, coordinating with sales representatives as needed.  

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote dealership, and provide relevant information about vehicles. 

  • Manage and update customer information accurately in the dealership's CRM system. 

  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities, schedule test drives, and support sales activities. 

  • Stay informed on current automotive industry trends, vehicle models, and dealership promotions to provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information. 

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience as a BDC Representative, Customer Service Representative, or Sales Coordinator in the automotive industry. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of customer inquiries and appointments. 

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM systems. 

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

  • Automotive knowledge, including familiarity with vehicle features, specifications. 

  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers while delivering outstanding customer service. 

  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to effectively promote the dealership. 

  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with strong time management and punctuality. 

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
