Summary/Objective
Findlay Honda Flagstaff is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ. In this pivotal role, you will drive financial operations with a strong focus on automotive retail production metrics such as PVR (Profit per Vehicle Retailed) and product penetration. Supporting sales teams to maximize revenue from both new and used vehicle sales as well as finance and insurance product offerings. Collaborating closely with sales, F&I, and service departments, you will help identify growth opportunities and implement strategies that boost PVR and enhance product penetration, ensuring the dealership’s financial health and competitive edge in the automotive market.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and production reports to identify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting dealership performance and revenue streams
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements specific to automotive finance and retail operations
- Collaborate with dealership leadership, sales, and F&I teams to develop strategies that increase product penetration and maximize profit per vehicle retailed
- Supervise and develop finance team members to support a sales-driven culture focused on production and profitability goals
- Maintain productive relationships with banks, auditors, financial institutions, and OEM finance partners
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within automotive dealerships or retail automotive finance
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles relevant to automotive sales and F&I product penetration
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on production-based financial management
- Proficient in financial software, dealership management systems, and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively across departments
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced, automotive sales-driven environment

The main function of the Finance Manager is to complete all the necessary documents for the vehicle purchase and produce income with high customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Meets expectations of gross and products sold set by the General Manager
- Ensures all deals are funded in a timely manner
- Updates all monthly sales reports
- Maintains high customer satisfaction with a CSI score at or above the region average
- Maintains good relationships with lenders
- Participates in weekly manager meetings with all departments and weekly sales meetings
- Assures compliance with all KPA standards, sensitive customer/employee information, anti-discrimination/harassment policy, and other dealership policies
- Facilitates weekly, daily, or monthly department training to ensure that goals are being met, performance expectations, department changes, and overall customer satisfaction with our processes
- Maintains a good attitude towards all employees, customers, other departments, and management
- Assists in forecasting monthly goals with the General Manager
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment in all areas of sales department
- Follows up with customers that are not satisfied and reports all unrectified customers to the General Manager
- Follows up with all customers that want to cancel any products they purchased
- Understands the products that are sold through the Finance Office and explains the benefits and coverages
- Helps train, hire, and coach all sales consultants
- Helps the desk managers when needed
- Understands how to structure a deal based on a customer’s credit history
- Understands how to send a deal into a lender for approval
Competencies
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally by both written and verbal means
- Ability to perform under high stress and a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional composure
- Ability to use CDK, Microsoft products, and other computer software as needed
- Shows strong leadership and sales skills
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has joint responsibility with the Sales Manager to oversee the Sales Consultants.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, drive, talk, write, type, and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with some later nights depending on sales traffic. You are entitled to one day off per working week for the first three weeks of each month. You are required to work each day of the last week of each month.
Travel
Out-of-state overnight travel may be required for training.
