Service Advisor

Fette Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Clifton, NJ. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service by coordinating vehicle repair and maintenance services while ensuring a positive customer experience. This role offers a competitive salary range from $85,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year, paid weekly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, understanding their service needs and concerns.
• Schedule vehicle service appointments and coordinate with the service technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Explain recommended services and repairs to customers in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide cost estimates and seek approval for repairs before work begins.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and customer interactions.
• Handle customer questions and resolve any service-related issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Work closely with parts and service departments to expedite vehicle repairs.
• Promote dealership service specials and related customer loyalty programs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer service role in the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology is a plus.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems is desirable.
• A valid driver’s license and a customer-focused mindset.
