We are seeking a dedicated Supervisory Nurse (RN) to join our team. Responsibilities include conducting orientation sessions for new Caregivers, supervising their performance through periodic on-site visits, and conducting skills assessments as needed. The role involves communicating with physicians to obtain necessary orders and updates regarding client status, ensuring effective coordination of care with other healthcare providers, and participating in the development of client care plans.

Additionally, the Supervisory Nurse will conduct Client Start of Care Visits, develop Plans of Care, and may support clients with health checks and medication management in Company staffed clinics at senior living communities. Efficient and thorough documentation is essential. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing their own client visit schedules while adhering to regulatory requirements for timely visits.

Qualifications include:

  • Current license to practice nursing in Maryland and DC (if not active in DC, expectation to obtain DC license within 6 months of hire)
  • RN required; BSN preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in home care, hospice, Medicare home health and/or in a private duty home care setting desired
  • Effective customer service skills and caring attitude
