Job Summary:

The position is responsible for carrying out grant funded and consulting contract funded projects. This position will serve as a point of contact for Members and Partners on projects, monitor and provide guidance regarding grant recipient compliance with applicable Federal regulations, and manage budgets and timelines to ensure project outcomes and deliverables are produced according to funding agreements. Additionally, this position provide leadership in conceptualizing and designing projects and serve as an advocate for Fahe and its Members. This position is part of a fully remote team within the Central Appalachian Region.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Manage assigned projects to include completion of project deliverables
  • Review and understand grant applications and grant agreements associated with assigned projects
  • Be responsible for balanced project budgets
  • Collect project data and required progress reporting
  • Maintain proper compliance for all project activities in accordance to funding regulations

Requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to retain and adapt within a consistently changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and proficiency in administering state/federal grant awards
  • Knowledge and proficiency in working with MS Office applications
  • Excellent customer service approach with ability to multi-task

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associates or Bachelors in Related Field Preferred
  • 2 – 3 Years’ Experience in a related field
  • Community Development Block Grant, Disaster Recovery, HOME, and federal programs experience Preferred
