About Ethos Early Learning Center
At Ethos, we believe early childhood is the foundation of everything. We’re a vibrant, community-focused early learning center in South Boston, MA, serving children ages 0–5 and creating an environment where children, families, and educators thrive. We’re now looking to take that same intentionality into how we welcome and onboard new staff.

Project Overview
We’re seeking a creative and experienced professional to design a new self-guided onboarding experience for our incoming teachers and support staff. Our goal is to make onboarding fun, warm, engaging, and informative—something that reflects who we are as a center and sets the tone for success.

Responsibilities

• Design a digital, interactive onboarding system for new hires

• Ensure the content is self-guided, welcoming, and easy to navigate

• Translate key policies, expectations, and Ethos values into engaging formats

• Include visual elements, videos, quizzes, or interactive pieces where helpful

• Provide a structure that is easy for our team to update in the future

• Collaborate with Ethos leadership to gather content and feedback

• Deliver the final onboarding in a user-friendly platform (e.g., Notion, Canva, Google Slides, or other recommended tools)

Who We’re Looking For

• A background in instructional design, digital training, onboarding, HR, or communications

• Experience creating onboarding materials or employee-facing content

• Strong design and storytelling skills

• Able to balance creativity with clarity and compliance

• Passionate about creating meaningful experiences for others

• Bonus: Familiarity with early childhood education or nonprofit settings

Timeline & Compensation

• Project start: ASAP

• Estimated project length: 4–6 weeks

• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and scope
