Sales/General Sales Manager

Position Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the sales department, driving sales performance, coaching the sales team, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated automotive professional with proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve dealership sales goals.
• Recruit, train, coach, and mentor sales consultants.
• Monitor individual and team performance while providing ongoing feedback and support.
• Assist customers throughout the purchasing process to ensure a first-class buying experience.
• Manage inventory presentation and merchandising standards.
• Work closely with finance, service, and management teams to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and ethical sales practices.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership experience is required.
• Prior experience as a Sales Manager or in a sales leadership role is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful sales team.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Experience with dealership CRM systems and sales software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. College education is a plus.
