Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activity/Member Assistant to join our team in Spartanburg, SC! If you have a passion for working with the elderly and young adults in a supportive and engaging environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and creation of monthly activity calendar to include: engaging activities, arts and crafts, music, games, emotional, spiritual, life skill and educational programs. 

Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.

Ensure center is set up and clean to ensure a safe and organized space for member activity

Connect with local resources for guest hosted activities.

Plan local outings for small groups of day center members

Create and update activity based care plan for each member

Hold monthly member meetings and maintain documentation

Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.

Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals (preferred but not required)

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Clean background check and drug test

Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks when needed
