Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and technicians with parts inquiries and parts sales
  • Manage the parts sales process from start to finish while delivering excellent customer service
  • Work directly with the Parts Manager to source and locate parts not currently in inventory
  • Process special order parts requests accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, availability, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory organization
  • Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership staff to support daily operations
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with both customers and team members
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to the automotive industry

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Automotive parts experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and professional attitude
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership systems
  • Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer
  • Ability to frequently move throughout the department and dealership
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds when handling parts or inventory items
