Shop Help - Electrical Contractor

Shop Individual Needed for an Electrical Contractor - Immediate Hire

We are looking for a motivated individual to work in our electrical shop. The position is considered an entry-level role for becoming an electrician. You will learn the materials used in the commercial/industrial electrical industry, as well as the equipment needed. Some of the shop duties include, but are not limited to:

• Stocking of electrical materials
• Taking deliveries from suppliers and delivery companies
• Picking up materials from suppliers and taking them to job sites
• Delivering scissor lifts to job sites (need to tow a trailer)
• Basic truck maintenance and washing
• Material reconditioning
• Shop maintenance 

Compensation and Perks:

• Starting at $18 an hour

Requirements/Qualifications:

• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD - required for driving our commercial vehicles
• Possess a valid chauffeur's license with a clean driving record (chauffeur's license required within 30 days)
• Tow a trailer behind a pickup truck, or be able to learn
• Pass a physical 
• Work 40+ hours per week and be available to work weekends if needed.
