East End Home Care is seeking a compassionate and certified Home Health Aide to provide dedicated care for an elderly female patient in Southampton, Long Island, conveniently located near the college. This part-time position requires availability for 2 days per week, with 4-hour shifts. The preferred shift start time is around 12:00 PM, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient with personal care and daily living activities.
• Provide support with mobility, as the patient currently uses a wheelchair.
• Ensure the patient's comfort and safety during each shift.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and family members as needed.

Requirements

• Must be a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) with New York State certification.
• Experience working with a Home Health Aide agency within the last two years is required.
• Ability to provide compassionate and reliable care to an elderly patient.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, preferably starting at noon.
