Primary Job Function

Performs the shipping and receiving of inventory components in the ERP system. Processes shipments by allocating available inventory in the ERP system. Completes the pick, pack and post functions; generates packing lists and bill of ladings for corresponding shipments. Participates in cycle counting and physical inventory activities. Processes product holds for test and quality hold products in MS Dynamics 365.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Performs receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
· Coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials.
· Support the plant with accurate inventory balances through plant cycle-count programs.
· Complete required training to have the necessary skills to perform the job properly and safely.
· Tracking for the compliance of the company’s delivery and customer service metrics, including the tracking and reporting of shipping and receiving data, shipping costs; implements action plans to correct issues.
· Serve as a backup to the cycle counter and material handlers.
· Manage the CHEP pallet account by updating shipments, ordering pallets and completing annual stock take.
· Process delivery of goods in ERP. Scan and attach receiving documentation in ERP.
· Process shipment of goods in ERP. Scan and attach shipping documentation in ERP.
· Participate as a back-up member of the product recall team.
· Provide support during SQF, FDA and customer audits, as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
· Identify, set-up and manage transfers to and from external warehouse location(s).
· Organize scheduling of trucks to replenish shortages on customer pick-up loads.
· Block and unblock of goods and incoming goods regarding QS-specifications
· Organize return freight of vendor owned materials (pallets, gaylords, etc).
· Creation of shelf life (FEFO) weekly reports.
· Create delivery notes, packing list, pallet notes and special accompanying documents
· Monitoring of external stocks FEFO including inventory management
· Monitoring, labelling and storing of returns from production. Reprint pallet labels as requested.
· Customs processing regarding raw, auxiliary and operating materials.
· Back-up material handlers as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
· Maintain cleanliness in warehouse areas.
· Responsible to report food safety and quality concerns to Supervision, Quality or Senior Management. Support the SQF system through adherence to plant policies and procedures.


Qualification Requirements

· Excellent organization and time management skills.
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics·
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Capable of working a flexible schedule.


Education and Experience

· High school diploma or GED required
· 2 – 3 years’ warehouse experience, manufacturing environment preferred.
· Applicant must be a committed team worker with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent attention to detail.
· Forklift experience a plus.
